Delaware's climate for the summer is usually long, warm and humid with mild winters. Most of the year
the temperature is mostly pleasant so any season is a good one for a visit. You can travel from one
end of Delaware to the other in about three hours. You can see the cupids at Nemours Mainsion in the
morning, see the birds at Bombay Hook Wildlife Refuge in the afternoon and head to the beach for
nightfall.
The Delaware State Fair takes place in Harrington in late July - early August. From June through
September Wilmington offers many ethnic festivals and celebrations. Fewer cities in Delaware are
geared toward visitors accommodations so places to stay are limited.
